I am so down on all lenders ie. banks and mortgage companies. My husband got a new 'better' job down in Beaufort SC and I stayed here in St Matthews SC to stay with my Mom. My dad passed away shortly before my husband had to move and I wanted to stay here to be here for her and certainly didn't want to just leave her by herself with no other family here. She has since met a entirely new circle of friends who are very supportive and many of them are newly widowed as well. I have asked Mom to move with us but she wants to stay here where she has grown up and been all her life. She has given me the 'ok' to move on. However, every bank and mortgage company my husband tries is not lending. A couple of companies say he hasn't worked at his new job long enough. It seems they all have good excuses. I am getting VERY discouraged at this point. Since I really want to join my husband real soon, I started thinking...if 140,000 people were to send me $1.00...I could get a decent house to call OUR home!!! Is this a good idea?
